Zonta Redcliffe supports crisis accommodation services that assist women and children who are escaping domestic and family violence.
The local refuge provides direct intensive support to approximately 45 women and one hundred children each year. The program focuses on providing an interim safe and supportive environment for families escaping abuse and violence, assisting them to re-establish their lives and transition into new homes.
The refuge works on a holistic model of support that focuses on meeting all practical and emotional needs of women and children both as individuals and within the context of their families. Due to the quality of the program and the level of support provided to women and children during their stay Jebb consistently boasts high percentages of families transitioning from our services into safe homes where women and children are able to live free from violence and fear.

May 2013 We have received a grant from Our Village Foundation to help provide take-home linen packs for Mothers and Children for when they leave the safe haven. We are very appreciative of this support which enables us to continue helping families in need.
May 2014 We have erected a banner to inform the local community about domestic violence and the Zonta Says No campaign at the Dolphins Oval.
